Jettainer highlights importance of leasing service for short-term ULD use

As the coronavirus continues to impact flights around the globe, demand for the short-term use of ULDs has increased. In response, ULD supplier Jettainer has highlighted the importance of its JettLease offering.

Introduced in November 2011, JettLease provides customers with ULDs at stations outside of their regular flight schedule.

Jettainer said that its JettLease offering has been particularly useful recently in Shanghai, China, due to increased airfreight demand as a result of the growing number flights exporting medical supplies and relief for the coronavirus.

As part of the JettLease service, Jettainer is also providing pallet stacks and nets to secure cargo onto the seats of passenger aircraft. Pallets, car racks and horse stalls are also available to be leased with JettLease.

Thomas Sonntag, Managing Director of Jettainer, commented: “With our international network, we can provide the required unit loading devices quickly and flexibly.

“I would like to thank the entire team that is doing its utmost for days to meet the increasing demand for short-term solutions.”
