Freighter airline Western Global Airlines (WGA) has signed a five-year deal with ACL Airshop for the provision of ULD management and logistics services.

The partners said the deal includes the provision of real-time tracking of ULDs through ACL’s ULD Control service as well as its global operations centre and FindMyULD mobile app.

ACL claimed that using these services will create better ULD utilisation rates and cost efficiencies.

Western Global director of planning and ground operations Chad David said: “Western Global has enjoyed a valued, cooperative relationship with ACL Airshop for many years. As our industry footprint grows, we are excited to expand that relationship with this agreement.”

Western Global operates a fleet of 19 widebody aircraft.
