As a major supplier of temperature-controlled packaging, systems and solutions to the global pharmaceutical market, we are constantly evolving and innovating our products and service to ensure they meet the exacting requirements of the market and our valued customers.

The global market is dynamic and rapidly growing, offering innovative products and solutions at all stages of pharmaceutical product development.

To this end, we would like to invite you to take part and complete a short survey, the results of which will help Peli BioThermal to better serve the market in the future.

For every completed survey, we will make a contribution to One Tree Planted, www.onetreeplanted.org.

Since 2014, One Tree Planted has more than doubled the number of trees planted each year, and is working with partners across 47+ countries in North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Pacific, with over 40,000,000 trees planted to date.

Peli BioThermal’s roots are grounded in serving the life sciences sector.

Our high-performing products are designed to keep high-value pharmaceuticals and clinical trials products at the optimum temperature, to ensure products are received in perfect condition.

Our solutions provide protection for pharma shipments including vaccines, clinical trials materials, tissue, blood and core products, medical devices and stem cells.

These products, known as passive containers, have no moving parts and do not need power to make them work.

We understand that discovery, clinical trials and commercialisation require different solutions.

Our dry ice and frozen parcel shippers protect your active pharmaceutical ingredients allowing you to focus on drug discovery.

Easy-to-use, lightweight solutions like NanoCool™ push button technology and Crēdo Cube™ passive, reusable shippers make temperature-controlled packaging accessible to cold chain novices.

Single-use thermal packaging like CoolGuard™ Advance shippers and CoolGuard™ PCM shippers offer solutions when recovering and returning packaging is not an option

Our bulk shippers like Crēdo™ Cargo thermal packaging and Crēdo Xtreme™ thermal packaging deliver your commercial products to the world.

Collaborative efforts

Our team of experts collaborate with healthcare, pharmaceutical, clinical trials, military and other life science organisations to design, develop and qualify temperature-controlled packaging to meet unique payload or ambient profile specifications.

Our experienced and award-winning engineering team analyse the project, schedule, product stability, transit mode and duration requirements, alongside required threshold and ambient temperature.

We then work with our customers to develop a comprehensive thermal protection solution to meet those requirements.

We have two ISO-certified thermal testing laboratories where we can model payload, shipping lanes and interaction with the real world and then test to confirm the results will meet all thermal challenges.

Our cold chain shippers — pre-qualified shippers or custom-designed shippers — are compliant with global industry standards such as International Safe Transit Association (ISTA), International Air Transport Association (IATA), United Nations (UN) and World Health Organization (WHO).

We conduct testing using calibrated environmental chambers with a full range of conditioning and testing equipment, from -80°C to +70°C (-112°F to +158°F).

Ever changing requirements

The pharmaceutical industry is fast-paced and ever-changing. This brings challenges and opportunities to companies working in the sector.

Our response has been to be agile, adapting quickly to the requirements of the pharmaceutical market; for instance a move from single-use products to reusable products and meeting the growing need for Rental and Leasing services as customers move away from the purchase model, towards ‘end to end’, fully managed services.

With the increased focus on sustainability and the environment, our product range has been at the forefront in the march towards offering a full deck of reusable product and managed services, including leasing/rental programmes.

This is more cost-effective for customers in terms of Return on Investment and Total Cost of Ownership.

In addition, reusable product offers a positive contribution to reducing packaging waste, reducing the amount of waste going to landfill.

Our programmes are flexible in terms of the length of rental and the ease of the order process, which is key when customers require bulk product, often at short notice.

A simplified, customer friendly approach reduces complexity, improves service levels and reduces cost.

Our numerous Service Centres and Network Stations employ specialist staff who check, maintain and repair our rental products to ensure they are in perfect condition for their next use.

In response to the expanding global pharmaceutical market’s requirements, Peli BioThermal is an industry leader in innovation, services and product offering.

We continue to grow our business by investing in new locations, plant and people worldwide.
