Aerios charter management app launches

Air cargo charter software company Aerios has released a charter management system app that organises data to create efficiencies and maximise revenue.

The CargoTech member’s charter management system integrates with flight operations, CRM and communication systems to create a single digital workflow and is designed to increase efficiency by automating manual, repetitive tasks in a single tool to create one consistent process across the entire team.

Aerios also aims to provide access to aggregated market trends and data that help support carriers’ decision making and maximise revenue opportunities.

It will also combine internal data reports, market insights and quotations, and centralise communication.

“The Carrier App does away with the cumbersome and error-prone use of spreadsheets combined with group email inboxes, where requests, quotes and key CRM data has to be manually entered and maintained. Nor does it require expensive or lengthy IT integrations or adaptations,” said Aerios.

“Our mission, at Aerios, is to enable brokers, charter professionals and carriers to work more efficiently, surface real time-data and maximise revenue opportunities in the air cargo charter market,” explained Simon Watson, founder of Aerios and co-founder and director of CharterSync.

“We do that by designing software that enables your team to spend less time on traditional manual processes and more time on relationships and growth. I am proud to launch the first version of our Carrier App, which has been built in conjunction with a number of cargo charter carriers, following extensive trials and a large number of research workshops.”

Because of its highly complex and ad hoc nature, the cargo charter market has been left unsupported by commonly used sales tools, stressed Aerios.

This leaves carriers faced with the decision to choose between accepting a largely manual process, or a costly investment to customise their existing CRM tool or develop their own digital solution which lacks wider market integration.

The Carrier App is already live with a group of carriers and airline partnerships will be confirmed in the coming months, said Watson.

The Carrier App is the first of a series of Aerios products for the wider charter market to help carriers distribute their capacity to market. The air cargo charter software company is planning to launch additional tools in the near future.
