Florea joins CHAMP

Air cargo IT provider CHAMP Cargosystems has appointed Gabriel Florea as the new group chief financial officer, taking over from from Susan Boulton. 
"Gabriel brings a wealth of knowledge in finance & controlling as well as multi-cultural competence to our organisation. He is a great addition to the CHAMP team and will help us realise the next level of growth,” said Arnaud Lambert, chief executive of CHAMP Cargosystems.
“I would also like to thank Susan Boulton most sincerely for her outstanding financial but also business engagement over the past 11 years. She has helped to build a very solid financial foundation for this company. This provides the means for further expanding the company. I wish her every success in the future."
Florea started his career in 1997 as an auditor with Arthur Andersen in Bucharest, he then moved to Luxembourg in 2000 where he was audit manager for Ernst & Young.
In 2003 he started a long career with Johnston Control in Brussels in which he successively had the responsibilities of senior international internal auditor, then head of financial reporting and internal controls compliance EMEA and finally regional finance director, emerging markets.
Prior to joining CHAMP, Florea has been working for HARSCO Luxembourg since 2012 where he was regional finance director Europe south & west and the chief financial officer of the French and Luxembourgish holding structures.
