Neutral Air Partner and HashMove launch consolidation portal

Christos Spyrou

Global freight network Neutral Air Partner (NAP) and its airfreight wholesale sub-industry group, NAC Consolidators, have worked with technology company HashMove to develop a digital B2B neutral air cargo consolidation portal.

A joint statement said that the NAC consolidation portal will be available “exclusively to freight forwarders and transport related companies worldwide” to provide instant airfreight wholesale rates and bookings, as well as consolidation schedules at more than 100 airports worldwide.

Christos Spyrou, chief executive of NAP, said: “The NAC consol portal is powered by more than 50 regional leading neutral airfreight wholesalers, consolidators and master co-loaders worldwide.

“Our members are top block space agreements (BSA)  and CPA agents on selected carriers and trade lanes, offering competitive wholesale airfreight rates, through mix build-up ULDs and weekly scheduled consolidations” .

Spyrou continued: “In Asia only, our airfreight revenue and buying power combined, is larger than some of the top global players, as our members rank among the top 10 IATA in countries like China, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

“We are very confident that our partnership with HashMove will enable us to digitise effectively the air cargo logistics B2B industry, taking into consideration every small detail of the airfreight procurement and consolidation management model of each market.”

Nadeem Hussain, head of partnerships and alliances for HashMove, said: “ Combining NAP’s extensive experience and expertise in air freight with the technological capabilities of HashMove, will open up new and innovative ways for logistics providers to conduct business which will transform traditional notions of efficiency and routes to market.

“This is the first of many initiatives we are planning to release with NAP which will bring enhanced value to the logistics community as a whole.”
