CHAMP Cargosystems has launched an air cargo business intelligence service to help airlines and freight forwarders respond to market changes more quickly.

MarketAnalytics uses system integrations to deliver detailed daily updates from across the supply chain.

According to CHAMP Cargosystems, the service “leverages Power BI advanced capabilities to show private and market data through dashboards, and across many dimensions”.

Managers can use the service’s personal alerts capability to help them to spot changes and opportunities. Information can be assessed by commodity and type of handling.

MarketAnalytics can also inform discussions with partners and clients.

“Data is nothing without a powerful analytics platform to interpret it,” said Christopher Shawdon, head of business development at CHAMP Cargosystems. “As providers of rapid transportation, airlines and forwarders can use MarketAnalytics to connect, link, and evaluate data and insights faster in order to better serve their clients’ changing needs.”

In addition to currently serving airlines and freight forwarders, MarketAnalytics will be expanded to additional supply chain stakeholders in future.
