Dachser signs up to use airfreight booking portal cargo.one

Freight forwarder Dachser has signed up to use airfreight price comparison portal cargo.one.
After a successful trial phase, Dachser has decided to use cargo.one as its digital booking platform for airfreight capacities in the spot market.
With immediate effect, the cross-airline booking platform developed by cargo.one is now available to Dachser employees working in airfreight export.
Cargo.one bundles global routing options on a user-friendly interface from well-known partner airlines such as Lufthansa Cargo.
“Proprietary interfaces provide cargo.one with live spot rates and guaranteed access to capacity and thus, enables Dachser to make airfreight bookings in a matter of seconds,” the platform said.
Dachser Head of Global Air Freight Timo Stroh said: "Some solutions promise digital bookability, but then, usually with no access to capacity. cargo.one offers us, in any market situation, fast and secure access to capacity based on live rates.”
In July, Lufthansa Cargo announced it had signed up to offer its capacity through cargo.one, followed a few weeks later by virtual airline Leisure Cargo, which offers space on a host of low-cost and holiday airlines.
