Kale Logistics offers free trial of air waybill processing tool

Kale Logistics is offering a free trial of its digital air waybill tool to help keep supply chains moving throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

Cloud-based PING enables PDF air waybills to be converted into an application program interface (API), which can in turn save time, reduce the likelihood of human error when processing air waybill, save costs and reduce cargo vehicle congestion.

The free trial is being offered to ground handlers, freight forwarders and airlines to help them continue operating smoothly despite virus-related disruption.

Amar More, chief executive of Kale Logistics Solutions, explained: “Our research has shown that the air cargo industry can save between 15-20% of its administrative costs related to air waybill processing by using this service, in addition to keeping business continuity and employee safety in these difficult times”.

He added: “Kale understands that the industry has limited ability to invest in new tools in such trying times, so has taken upon itself to offer a completely cloud hosted, outcome-based service model with zero upfront investment for its e-services.

“These cloud-enabled services reduce cargo-handling time with automation. We are experiencing tremendous demand for these e-services which are so pertinent in these pandemic times.”
