Paperless cockpit for AirBridgeCargo

AirBridgeCargo (ABC) has adopted Lufthansa Systems’ Lido/iRouteManual, Lido/Enroute and Lido/DocView IT solutions to move to paperless cockpit systems.
The new IT systems are designed to ease the workload of ABC pilots with flight deck crew iPads continually updated with documents and data, and with up to date charts, downloadable directly from the Lido navigation database.
A considerable reduction in the airline’s operational costs is also foreseen. ABC plans to fully switch to the electronic cockpit by February 2015.
