AA Cargo and DHL Express deliver steaks

IN the true spirit of giving, American Airlines Cargo and DHL Express, recently partnered to deliver premium steak dinners to US troops based in Afghanistan.
Working together, AA Cargo and DHL Express transported more than 5,000 beef steaks for troops to enjoy during the holiday season.American supplied DHL Express with temperature-controlled containers – utilising its new ExpediteTC service – which allows for the long-range transportation of perishable goods. DHL Express then transported the American Airlines Cargo containers to US armed forces based in Afghanistan through its dedicated air network.
At the same time, 1,137 kilos of Dallas Cowboys football jerseys and other sports apparel, donated by the Cowboys, were provided to the troops.“Through our ongoing partnership, we have been able to pool our resources – working through the complicated logistics of transporting supplies to remote areas of Afghanistan,” said Dave Brooks, president AA Cargo. “We extend special thanks to DHL Express for their very generous support and cooperation, not only on this mission, but on other missions in which we have partnered with great success.”
