ACS opens Turkey office

GLOBAL aircraft charter provider Air Charter Service (ACS) has opened a new office in Turkey.
Based in Istanbul, the operation will be headed up by Caglar Ozturk, who has been working in the company’s Dubai office since 2011, a statement says.
Commenting on the development, Justin Lancaster, group commercial director of ACS, states: “We have been planning to have a presence in Turkey for a number of years and we feel Caglar is ideal to kick-start that, as he moves back to his homeland.
"Having worked for a Turkish airline before joining ACS and working with Turkish clients whilst in Dubai, he already knows the market inside out, and we are confident that his industry contacts will help ACS’ business in Turkey flourish.”
The new operation will be offering cargo charters only, but the company is expected to add a passenger department in the near future.
