AF-KLM manages to lose over €20 million

AIR-France-KLM has discovered over €20 million missing from its records.The carrier discovered the money was missing from the accounts of 300 employees who are posted to the Air France committee of the Confédération Française Démocratique du Travail trade union.The company has yet to make an official announcement but both the trade union and the government are said to be considering legal action.An internal source to the investigation told the French media that an estimated 95 per cent of the missing money was probably poor bookkeeping and the remaining five per cent was ‘personal enrichment’.
