Air France-KLM Feb figures up and down

AIR France-KLM’s cargo traffic figures for February 2009 show both gain and decline depending on whether Martinair is factored in. February this year comprised 28 days compared with 29 days last year, a reduction of around 3.4 per cent.
On a same number of days basis, including Martinair, traffic was up by 3.6 per cent with capacity up by 13.8 per cent (+0.2 per cent and +10.4 per cent on an actual number of days basis). The load factor fell 6.3 points to 65.2 per cent.
Excluding Martinair, traffic and capacity dropped by 18.5 per cent and eight per cent on a same number of days basis, leading to a 8.1 point decline in load factor to 60.7 per cent.
