Air Logistics grows African presence

GSSA Air Logistics Group has declared its continental ambitions by making a decisive move into South Africa.
Bosses say it is the right time to tap into the country with its 62nd office, based in Johannesburg, under Jeremy Henno, regional director for Africa.
On a local level the office is being managed by Shawn McGuinness, general manager for Southern and Central Africa, who brings with him 18 years’ experience in the region’s air cargo industry.
Henno comments: “Our new office in Johannesburg is the latest piece in our strategy of expansion into Africa where we are building a recognisable presence.
“As South Africa continues to strengthen its trade relations with Asia, we feel this is the right time to expand into this growing market.”
Air Logistics has also recently opened branches in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.
