Air Logistics opens in Tel Aviv

AIR Logistics has opened its 49th office located in Tel Aviv, Israel. The office was opened by Roni Samocha (right), country manager, Israel. “Israel is a competitive and rapidly developing market, which has become a key area for multi-national companies to establish operations such as DGF, Expeditors, Kuehne + Nagel and UTi.

“Additionally, the airline industry has found that Israel is becoming more and more popular for passenger traffic, which of course attracts new airlines, new routes and wider aircrafts,” said Samocha.

The recent opening of the group’s Israeli office during February 2008, follows the launch of offices in Turkey and Hong Kong during the latter part of 2007.

“Our expansion into these new countries is a strategic step in the process of growing our global network. All three offices are managed by small and dynamic teams of airfreight professionals boasting a wealth of local knowledge. We very much look forward to developing business from these regions that perfectly enhance the Air Logistics Group growth strategy,” said Helmut Mair, worldwide director, Air Logistics Group.
