American launches new Moscow service

AMERICAN Airlines Cargo Division has announced new cargo service to Moscow, Russia, from Chicago O’Hare International Airport. AA Cargo will offer regular non-stop Boeing 777 service to Russia’s Domodedovo Airport beginning 2 June, 2008.

‘Our Chicago gateway is well positioned to support freight forwarders and their cargo originating from the US heartland,” said Dave Brooks, president of American Airlines Cargo. “Access to Russia, represents new opportunities for our freight forwarder customers to meet increasing demand there for US commodities. Through American’s worldwide network and interline partners, new channels are also opened up for outbound commodities out of Russia.”

AA Cargo is offering its Chicago-Moscow service six days a week. Eastbound flights will fly every day except Sunday, and westbound flights will operate daily with the exception of Mondays.
