AVIENT Logistics has recently been launched, to fill a void within the logistics industry for a high quality, service focused, logistical support for network airlines and their customers and partners. Avient Logistics is able to cover a number of key elements of the supply chain such as road feeder services (RFS), cargo reception and large collection and delivery services with its own high specification trucks.
Its initial focus has been on offering a second to none RFS service of its parent company for its flights to and from Paris Vatry Airport, Avient’s major European hub. “We are embracing the challenges ahead and are fully aware that our mission is all about setting and maintaining the highest service levels, and growing in a sustainable and profitable manner,” said Richard Drury, the company’s managing director. “We work closely with Avient’s network operations team, led by Gary Down, and together we continually seek to expand the business into new areas without compromising the level of service. As a result of effectively being an extension of the airline, we are able to run a service that meets the groups high quality threshold.”
Avient Logistics has invested in four refrigerated trailers specifically designed for airfreight and fitted with Hydro roll floors, teamed up with the Man TGX tractor unit, providing a best-in-class specified vehicle.
