Cargoitalia adds to Asian routes

COMMENCING later in March Cargoitalia will add extra flights to Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Cargoitalia will operate four times weekly to Hong Kong. The Tuesday and new Friday services will operate via Sharjah, while the Thursday and Saturday flights will continue to route via Dubai.

Around the same time the airline is increasing its flights to Shanghai to three times weekly, with a new Friday service. All flights will continue to make a tech-stop in Krasnoyarsk (Russia) in both directions.

“Together with a dramatic increase in charter work, we are now obtaining much higher utilisation for each of our three MD-11 freighters,” Cargoitalia commercial director Roberto Gilardoni said.
