Casjens resigns from Panalpina

GUNTHER Casjens has resigned from Panalpina’s board of directors with immediate effect. Panalpina said Casjens’ departure was due to “other time consuming commitments” and added it was entirely Casjen’s’ decision.

His replacement will be elected onto the board at the company’s annual general assembly on 10 May, 2011.

Casjens joined the board in 2005.

Panalpina thanked Casjens for his “many years of collaboration and his contributions which were characterised by his entrepreneurial visions and his vast industry experience”.
