CEVA’s new Vietnam venture

LEADING logistics firm CEVA has entered into a joint venture with long-term business partner Indo Trans Logistics Group to strengthen its position in Southeast Asia.
The limited company CEVA Logistics (Vietnam), based in Ho Chi Minh City, will offer end-to-end integrated supply chain services, according to a spokesperson.
Commenting on the new entity, Nelson Chow, the firm’s managing director for Vietnam, enthuses: “This is an exciting time for CEVA in Vietnam despite the global macro-economic situation. ”
The company began operating in the country more than 12 years ago. At that time, it offered freight management services.
Executive vice-president for Southeast Asia, Loo Seng Tak states: “Vietnam is a fast developing market in Asia and is strategically located to be an ideal hub for Southeast Asia and China. 
“There is significant potential for growth in the logistics and supply chain industry in this country.”
