Charter specialist targets Latin America

UK AIR charter specialist Chartersphere is to develop operations in Spain and South America.

The move follows the appointment of cargo charter broker Nacho Carretero, who has seven years’ experience working as a broker and freight-forwarder in Europe and Latin America, the company reveals.

Managing director Paul Bennett, who founded the company in 2010, says: “[Nacho] has valuable experience in crucial markets such as Brazil, which is an economic powerhouse and increasingly important to global trade.

“I believe we can now expand our presence in Europe and Latin America to build further on the successes of the past year.”

Chartersphere’s latest exploits include a truck re-fuelling contract from Italy to Nairobi (Kenya) and delivering a consignment of oil and gas equipment from the UK to Azerbaijan.
