Delta March traffic down

DELTA Air Lines traffic results for March 2009 show both Delta and Northwest’s operations decreased 12.6 per cent compared to March 2008. This was on a 7.9 per cent decrease in capacity and a load factor decline of 4.4 points to 80.5 per cent.

Domestic traffic decreased 11.1 per cent year over year on an 8.6 pe rcent decrease in capacity. Domestic load factor decreased 2.3 points to 82.4 per cent. International traffic decreased 15.1 per cent year-on-year on a 6.7 per cent decrease in capacity. The load factor declined 7.7 points to 77.4 per cent.
