DFW site doubles for Schenker

CONSTRUCTION has now begun following a ground-breaking ceremony for the new DB Schenker logistics centre at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The 19,000 m2 facility, for international airfreight as well as national supply and distribution, is expected to be operating this autumn.
The newly built facility, will practically double BAX Global and Schenker’s existing capacity at DFW International Airport. Seventy-eight truck bays, state-of-the-art communications technology, an efficient infrastructure and security systems, guarantee that freight is handled quickly while providing the highest levels of service quality.
