DHL signs Singapore Airlines deal

FROM the air to the ocean, DHL Global Forwarding will now manage global transport for Singapore Airlines in a new deal.

The freight-forwarding arm of DHL will manage all in-flight amenities from Singapore Airlines through its distribution hubs in China, Germany and Singapore to all of its network destinations and offices in the world.

As part of the contract, DHL will also provide all inland transportation services to Singapore AirlinesՉ۪China and Germany hubs through its supply chain unit.

The contract went live on 15 January in Singapore, and operations are expected to roll out in China and Germany in April and May, respectively.
