Egyptair and WFS

EGYPTAIR has awarded a contract to Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), to provide passenger and cargo handling services in Paris for the airline’s scheduled flights to Cairo.

WFS will provide a full handling service for the airline, including ramp services such as aircraft parking, cleaning and pushback and passenger check-in, boarding and transport. Egyptair expects to carry some 80,000 passengers a year on the route.

Egyptair commenced Airbus A330 operations from Paris CdG to Cairo in May and has since added an extra weekly flight every Saturday to Luxor.

The airline currently transports some 600 tons of airfreight each month from Paris.
