Etihad appoints new cargo manager

ETIHAD Crystal Cargo has appointed Jacqueline Ni (right), as its new regional cargo sales manager for the Asia Pacific region.

Based in Shanghai, Ni will oversee Etihad Crystal Cargo’s growing services in the Asia Pacific, which includes its two freighter only destinations of Shenzhen and Shanghai.

Des Vertannes, Etihad Airways’ executive vice-president cargo, said: “Etihad Crystal Cargo continues to expand its services and personnel in our key locations across the world and I am very pleased to welcome Jacqueline to the team.

“There is considerable demand for air cargo services to and from the Asia Pacific market, particularly China, and I am looking to Jacqueline to help build our customer base and develop our interline relationships there further.”

Ni said: “This is a very exciting time to join Etihad Crystal Cargo and have responsibility for the Asia Pacific, which is such an important region within the industry.

“Etihad has established a strong name as a result of the freighter-only services to Shenzhen and Shanghai, as well as the passenger services to Beijing, and I am proud to become a part of this expanding team.”
