FedEx appoints new EMEA boss

FEDEX Express has appointed Gerald Leary its regional president for Europe, the Middle East, Indian subcontinent and Africa. Leary – who will be based at the company’s European headquarters in Brussels (Belgium) – succeeds Robert Elliott who is retiring from the company.

“Jerry’s demonstrated ability to lead and his in-depth transport operations experience make him an excellent choice as the new regional president for EMEA,” said David Bronczek, president and chief executive officer.

“We appreciate Bob’s many years of service.”
