Four arrested for Mumbai cargo theft

FOUR ground handlers at Mumbai International Airport have been arrested for stealing cargo. The four worked for the ground-handling company Omega and are alleged to have stolen cargo moving through the airport for several months.

“We are still interrogating these people on the modus operandi and the thefts they have carried out over the past few months,” said senior inspector Dilip Patil.

“According to reliable information, they are involved in the theft. Once the interrogation is over, we would be able to find out about the extent of their involvement.”
