Gabon names UK cargo GSA

GABON Airlines, which flies into Europe under strict EU conditions, has named ANA Aviation as its UK and Ireland cargo GSA.

Gabon operates twice-weekly MD-11 freighter flights from Ostend and Liege (Belgium) to its hub in Libreville (Gabon). From Libreville Gabon Airlines has a regional freighter network to the oil and gas destinations of Port Gentil and Pointe Noire (Republic of the Congo) and Douala (Cameroon).

In its revised blacklist the EU has allowed Gabon Airlines to operate in Europe under strict conditions. Every type of aircraft is permitted with the exception of 767-200s.
