GreenCarrier acquires in Finland

GREENCarrier International, has strengthened its position in the Nordic region, with the acquisition of the independent IATA approved Finnish forwarding company Oy FCS Logistics Ltd.

The company prides itself on the handling of higher value and time-sensitive goods.

A particular speciality is the transport of livestock including pets, horses, cattle and poultry. Pick-up and delivery, kennels, quarantine, veterinarians and flight reservations, can be organised with a special emphasis on airlines and schedules that are best for the well-being of the animals.

It is anticipated that the FCS Logistics operation, will eventually be fully integrated into GreenCarrier International.

Staffan Kjellberg, managing director, GreenCarrier International, said: “FCS Logistics will be our foothold in the Finnish market for expansion. The owners of FCS Logistics have the same business philosophy as we have. Like other GreenCarrier offices, the company is also strong in certain niches. FCS Logistics will play an important role in the GreenCarrier group of companies, along the Baltic seafront and the Russian border.”
