Hainan names ECS as Swiss GSA

CHINA-based Hainan Airlines has named ECS Group as the general sales agent (GSA) for its operations in Switzerland.

Hainan will fly between Beijing and Zurich starting 31 May and will operate three flights a week on the route using an A330 passenger aircraft. The Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday departures from Switzerland will offer 18 tonnes of cargo capacity.

In Switzerland, Hainan’s cargo capacity will be marketed by Globe Air Cargo, a wholly owned affiliate of ECS Group.

ECS now represents Hainan in Belgium, Germany, Hungary and Switzerland to support its flights from Brussels (Belgium), Berlin (Germany), Budapest (Hungary) and Zurich (Switzerland), as well as at other ECS offices across Europe.
