Hellmann inaugurates Glasgow expansion

HELLMANN Worldwide Logistics UK has officially opened its expanded base in Glasgow.

Klaus Hellmann, global director of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics officially opened the new Glasgow office on 28 February, 2008.

Jason Sanders, national sales manager for Scotland at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK, said: “We are so pleased that key Hellmann members wanted to be part of our celebrations. We now feel that we have a new and local management team that will represent our company. More importantly, we are striving to introduce and support local business needs that can take advantage of Hellmann’s continually growing global presence and support their own supply chains by offering a quality logistics solution.

“We now have three excellent facilities in Scotland, which will support and enhance the UK and global network. The aim was to open up the many avenues in target markets and industries such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, perishable goods and automotives to name a few. The reach we have now is very broad indeed.”
