JAL and Nippon Cargo Airlines team up

JAPAN Airlines (JAL) and Nippon Cargo Airlines are considering a code-sharing arrangement between Japan and North America. 
If the deal goes ahead the joint operation of flights will start in late March.
Sources attribute the deal to the continuing drop in traffic demand.
JAL has already cut its flights to New York and not only flies to Los Angeles and Chicago.
