Kuehne and Nagel expands in South America

UNDER its five-year growth programme Switzerland-based freight player Kuehne + Nagel will acquire three companies in South America, giving it access to key export markets.

Kuehne + Nagel will buy Translago and Agencia de Aduanas Excelsia in Colombia, as well as Mastertransport in Ecuador. All three companies are specialised in perishables logistics activities. Together, the three companies control around 75,000 tons of air export perishables a year.
