Liège sees little cargo growth

LIÈGE Airport (Belgium) recorded 59,091 metric tonnes of freight in November, a 1.12 per cent increase over November 2010.

From January to November 2011, 618,662 tonnes of goods were handled at the airport, a leap of 5.37 per cent on the 587,123 tonnes of cargo in the same period the year before.

Liège Airport’s stable figures come despite a five per cent decrease in global air cargo traffic in Europe.
