Lufthansa Cargo welcomes Dachser to the club

GERMAN logistics provider Dachser has become a member of Lufthansa Cargo’s Global Partnership Programme.

“The two companies have significantly expanded their joint business in recent years,” Andreas Otto, Lufthansa Cargo board member product and sales, comments. “Dachser is pursuing an impressive and successful global expansion model and we are delighted to be part of it. We now intend to continue on that path in even closer partnership.”

Aside from Dachser, Lufthansa Cargo’s global partners include Agility, CEVA, DHL Global Forwarding, Expeditors, Hellmann, Ku?hne+Nagel, Panalpina, DB Schenker, UPS and UTi.

In 2010 Dachser shipped 46.2 million consignments weighing a total of 35.5 million metric tonnes.
