Manchester Airport takes off in new direction

THE Manchester Airports Group, owner and operator of Manchester, East Midlands, Humberside and Bournemouth Airports, has appointed Ken Duncan (right), as new group finance director.
Group chief executive officer, Geoff Muirhead, said: “I am delighted to welcome Ken to the group. He joins at the time of rapid change for MAG and the aviation industry as a whole. MAG is committed to putting customer service at the heart of the business whilst striving to become more efficient and living up to its environmental responsibilities and Ken will play a key role in delivering this agenda.
“With the recent decision by the Secretary of State for Transport to remove Manchester Airport from economic regulation, we are well placed to deliver our ambitious plans and we are looking forward to seeing the positive contribution that Ken will make towards achieving our goals.”
