Martinair expands in South America

MARTINAIR is to start offering scheduled services from Viracopus (Brazil) to Quito and Guayaquil (Ecuador) and Bogota (Colombia) on its four-times-a-week MD-11 freighter flights.Martinair launched a twice-weekly service in Brazil in March last year, which grew to four by October.“We are very pleased with our results in Brazil and expect 2010 to be even better now that we have obtained fifth freedom traffic rights,” said Meta Ullings (right), senior vice-president Martinair Cargo.
