Martinair moves cargo to DWC

MARTINAIR Cargo has launched operations from Dubai World Central (DWC) in the UAE.

The carrier will fly six times a week to DWC on a KLM-leased 747.

DWC is a 140km2 multi-phase development part of Al Maktoum International Airport. By 2013 the airport will be the largest in the world in terms of freight handled, moving up to 12 million tonnes a year.
