Martinair says bye to passenger

DUTCH carrier Martinair has ended its life as a passenger carrier and will now be a cargo-only airline.

All of the carrier’s passenger routes have now been absorbed by KLM, its present owner.

The airline bade farewell to its passenger operations with a 767-300ER, upon which was painted the words “Thank you” and “Bedankt” – ”thank you” in Dutch.
