Maximus flies Queens horses to UAE

MAXIMUS Air Cargo has safely carried 30 horses of the UK’s Household Cavalry from London Stansted Airport to Abu Dhabi. The horses, which were invited to the UAE by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, are part of the British Army’s elite equine display team, known as ‘The Ride’. The horses are scheduled to make their debut at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, which will open on 30 September.

Fathi Buhazza, Maximus Air Cargo’s president and chief executive officer, said: “This was a very special arrangement as it will be the first time in history that these horses have performed beyond Europe. We’re delighted that Maximus was chosen and that his historic journey was flawless and perfectly managed from end-to-end.”
