Mystery fire diverts FedEx 727

CREWMEMBERS of a FedEx plane had to evacuate after reporting smoke in the cockpit after making an emergency landing at Denver International Airport.

Heading from Montana to Missouri the two-person crew of the Boeing 727 diverted to Denver and landed safely before using the emergency slides. Denver Fire Department found no fire or smoke but National Transportation Safety Board investigators planned to unload all the cargo to investigate anyway.
