THE Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has reissued Air Nigeria its air operator’s certificate (AOC).
The agency had ordered all airlines operating in the country to have their AOCs re-certified in accordance with new civil aviation regulations.
Air Nigeria’s chief executive officer, Kinfe Kahssaye, said the certificate reaffirmed the airline’s safety.
“We have consistently adhered to global aviation safety requirements and our operations are carried out by a well-maintained fleet of aircraft, as well as support from a competent workforce and it is our commitment to continually maintain the standards,” he said.
“The re-issuance of our Air Operator’s Certificate is coming at an auspicious time when we are implementing a fast and profitable growth plan to further expand our frontiers through the acquisition of a modern fleet of aircraft as well as the introduction of new routes on both domestic and regional networks to serve our customers better.”
