New identity for Air Contractors Group

FOLLOWING the purchase in March 2008 of Europe Airpost by Air Contractors, the subsidiary of Compagnie Maritime Belge and 3P Air Freighters, the new aviation group has been named ASL Aviation Group Ltd.

The ASL represents the three core areas of activity of the group, namely: Airlines, Services and Leasing.

Hugh Flynn, ASL aviation group chief executive officer, said: “The dynamic performance strategy of ASL aviation group, based on the strong position of Air Contractors and Europe Airpost in the market, is to maintain the pace of its growth, to extend its offer of unique global solutions and to grow into new markets.”

Jean-Francois Dominiak, chief executive officer, Europe Airpost, said: “The customers of ASL aviation group; major integrators, national post offices, leading airlines, tour operators, consolidators and travel agencies, will benefit directly from the synergies between the various subsidiaries of the group. This group effect, through better integration of services, will raise the level of quality.”
