New MD at ACS

GLOBAL aircraft charter provider Air Charter Service (ACS) has appointed Ruan Courtney as its new managing director.
He replaces long-standing MD, Tony Bauckham, who will remain with the company for a further year – providing counsel and continuity as joint managing director – to aid Courtney’s transition.
“There comes a time when it is pertinent to hand over the reins to one’s successor. ACS is at an exciting time in its global development to which I will continue to contribute,” says Bauckham.
Bauckham was previously managing director in the UK of freighter operator Volga Dnepr and, earlier in his air cargo career, was executive vice-president of US-based Evergreen International Airlines.
