New office update – 11 February 2010

Kuehne + Nagel opened an operating centre in Minsk (Belarus) with regular services to points in Chaina, Europe, Kazakhstan and Russia.?
The new managing director of Kuehne + Nagel Belarus – Elena Dushnjak – said: “Belarus is an attractive region for large international companies from Europe and Asia doing business in Eastern Europe. Our integrated logistics services combined with our proven knowledge of the local market can support them in improving supply chain efficiency and reliability.”
 Logwin has opened a new additional office in the Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority (DAFZA) focusing on airfreight. Managed by Satish Kumar, this is the company’s second in Dubai.
“Opening the second office makes sense in order to further expedite the processing of global air freight transport while retaining the same high level of quality,” says Hauke Mueller, managing director Europe, Middle East, air and ocean.
 Air Partner has opened offices in both Turkey and Hong Kong. Serkan Topcu heads Air Partner Turkey, in Istanbul. Topcu was formerly at Schenker Logistics and has been joined by Emir Ozdabak and Gunnes Nomaler, both of whom have aviation charter backgrounds.
Air Partner Hong Kong is represented by WAI Asia, a leading Hong Kong GSA. WAI is headed by Keith Lo who will promote Air Partner’s freight business throughout the region.
