Panalpina appoints Sears head of healthcare

PANALPINA has appointed Barrie Sears (right) its area head of healthcare for northwest Europe.

Sears has worked in the pharmaceutical logistics sector for twelve years and will bring his experience to Panalpina to oversee the development of the company’s healthcare business.

“Within the healthcare sector there are many challenges and also opportunities to embrace. There is continued regulation on cool-chain cargo and high levels of compliance involved in the transportation of pharmaceutical products.
