Panalpina opens new Singapore logistics complex

PANALPINA’S new logistics centre in Singapore has opened near Changi international airport.

The 11,277-square-metre centre was formally inaugurated by Panalpina chief executive officer Monika Ribar (right). It offers air and ocean freight, warehousing and other logistics services.

“The new facility constitutes a central interface with Asia, enabling Panalpina to extend its portfolio of supply chain management services throughout the Asia-Pacific region,” the company said in a statement.

“[It] is more than just another warehouse,” said Ribar. “It is also a signal that we are ready to offer our customers top-quality services and infrastructure – wherever and whenever they need them.”

Tan Choon Shian, assistant managing director of the Singapore Economic Development Board, said: “We warmly welcome Panalpina’s expansion in Singapore and believe our excellent connectivity and world-class infrastructure will enhance Panalpina’s ability to harness Asia’s growth potential.
