People update 11 July

THE Cargo Airline Association has named Adam Kokas, general counsel and chief human resources officer at Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, as its new chairman. He succeeds Robert Gray, vice-president of flight operations at ABX Air.

Mitch Wild has been appointed head of sales and marketing for Qantas Freight effective 1 August. Wild’s previous roles within the company have included responsibility for its freighter network and regional sales roles in Australia, Europe and the US.

Asmat Goraya has joined Air Liaison, part of the Heavyweight Air Express Group of Companies, as cargo sales manager south, based at the group’s new London Heathrow (UK) office.

TNT Express Middle East has appointed Mark Pell as the country general manager for TNT Express UAE. Pell has previously held senior management roles with TNT in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the US.

Following 52 years in aviation Peter Clark (pictured) has retired from Skylink in his position as general manager UK and Ireland. His successor will be Vince Seeger.
